Between 1997 and 2018, he was a financial journalist for ‘Gazeta Wyborcza’ and the founder of Ekipa Samcika (a group of interventionist journalists). He writes about the stock market, insurance, investing, banks and personal finance. Winner of prestigious journalism awards: ‘Grand Press’ in the category “specialist journalism”, “Grand Press Economy”. In 2013 recognised as the best economic journalist in the Wladyslaw Grabski competition organised by the National Bank of Poland. Winner of the special award of the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, the Press Club Economic Journalism Award, as well as the ‘Heros of the Capital Market’ award granted by the Association of Individual Investors. Finalist of the Dariusz Fikus Award for journalism of the highest order. An economist by profession, he graduated from the Poznań University of Economics.
