Description
The aim of the project was to improve the situation of young people aged 18-24 from the NEET group by increasing their vocational and social activity and employability. Every young person who participated into the project received professional and comprehensive support, preceded by identification of his/her needs and skills. Taking into account their disadvantaged background, it was necessary to provide the participants with comprehensive, “tailor-made” support, including psychological consultations and training in social skills. They took part in individual and group lessons with a career advisor, as well as in workshops of active job searching, vocational courses, language courses, basic computer courses, driving courses (license cat. B). They also had an opportunity to practice their new skills and gain new experience during training and internships organized in cooperation with employers.
