Marek Gudków, the co-owner of Euro Forum

Quizer

Computer technologies are a natural environment for younger generations. Not only do they use these technologies for entertainment and communication, but also to learn. Fun and competition can additionally boost motivation in the process of education. Euro Forum, a Lublin-based company, created a simple tool virtually for everyone to develop interactive courses, presentations and quizzes.

‘While looking for new opportunities for an attractive presentation of a variety of contents, we created the Quizer. The platform is used to develop and present information, educational content and advertising. The project included research into and the development of a functional prototype. Now, we have a ready-made solution for our clients,’ says Marek Gudków, the co-owner of Euro Forum.

The platform consists of two modules: creator and presenter. The former is an interface for the administrator and people who develop interactive multimedia content. They use ready-made templates and components. A quiz or an education game can be created from scratch. It is enough to have a well-structured scenario. The Presenter module offers access to the content for unregistered and registered users, including those having a paid account in the system. Users may include students, clients or employees of a corporation or an institution.

Healthy competition
Quizer can be used to provide multiplayer access. At the same time, several people can focus on solving the same task and compete with each other. Moreover, the platform helps to track the progress.

The platform is excellent for education and training, which has been tested by the company. Marek Gudków emphasises that companies may use the Quizer to present their products or services. ‘Each product can be advertised and promoted through games and quizzes. The platform has an inbuilt search engine indexing which significantly boosts accessibility of the content. For instance, museums can use it for interactive quizzes to promote their exhibits. This mode of advertising is going to become a standard,’ says the Euro Forum manager.
